Swiss employment law · Omnilex AG, Zurich

Been dismissed? Get it checked for free.

Is the dismissal valid? Which deadlines are running? Are you entitled to compensation? You will receive an initial assessment by email within 1 working day.

  • ✓Free and without obligation
  • ✓Reply within 1 working day
  • ✓Only your email needed

Deadlines run from the moment you receive the notice. A written objection to an unfair dismissal must reach the employer before the notice period ends, otherwise the right to compensation is lost.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after I submit?+

We review your information using Omnilex, the AI platform for Swiss law with more than 800'000 court decisions, and get back to you by email within 1 working day. You receive an initial assessment and a fixed-price offer. The request is free and without obligation.

What does the request cost?+

Nothing. The initial assessment with your deadlines and the fixed-price offer are free and without obligation. Costs arise only if you order a package, for example the Dismissal Check for a flat fee of CHF 490.

Who reviews my case?+

Legal professionals at Omnilex AG in Zurich, supported by Omnilex, the AI platform for Swiss law with more than 800'000 court decisions. The initial assessment by email is AI-assisted and does not yet constitute legal advice on your individual case. In the Dismissal Check, legal experts review your case with your documents and tell you definitively what to do.

Are you a law firm?+

No. Omnilex AG is a legal tech company and does not appear in court. In return, we work for flat fees rather than by the hour. We prepare submissions such as a conciliation request ready to file; you file them yourself.

How quickly do I need to act?+

In the case of a possibly unfair dismissal, the written objection must reach the other party before the notice period expires. Legal action must be brought within 180 days of the end of the employment relationship. Anyone wishing to dismiss summarily must do so within 2 to 3 working days of learning of the reason.

What does it cost if I need more?+

The packages are flat fees without ongoing support. 30-day support costs CHF 1'990 and is clearly limited. We offer direct negotiations with the other side as a separate mandate with a cost cap.

Does this also apply to public-sector employment?+

The Dismissal Check is designed for private-law employment relationships under the CO. Employment with the Confederation, cantons and municipalities is governed by separate public personnel laws. Get in touch and we will check whether we can help.
